A note from Gioia

Dear Valued Customers,

My late husband Richard Vecchio, founded Bay Rag in the 1970s and worked as owner operator until he passed in 2007. 

I immediately stepped in as owner operator in 2007, and have made Bay Rag an integral part of my life for the past 17 years. During that time I have learned about many of you, your business and your families.

Having the privilege and pleasure of working with you for the past 17 years has been the highlight of my professional career. It has been my honor to serve you and from the bottom of my heart, I thank you.

However, after much thought and careful consideration, I have decided to retire.

I would like to introduce the new owner Doug. I trust that he is more than capable of providing you with the same level of excellence in customer service and quality products that you are used to receiving. Many of the same employees will remain with the business. I hope you show the same loyalty to Doug, as you have done for me.
